"I am not judged by the number of times I fail, but by the number of times I succeed: and the number of times I succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times I fail and keep trying." quoted by Tom Hopkins shows us the importance of the continuance in a state of grace leading to a state of glory. It all falls under one powerful word, Perseverance.

To me, I believe humans are born to create mistakes and through the process, creating opportunities for learning and reflection. It may sound easily achievable, but never without perseverance. It is impossible to correct all mistakes in a single try. It normally goes through a series of cycle involving the repetition of reflections, executions, and amendments, before one realises the error made. People with low perseverance normally miss out on important lessons occurring in live and is forever a step slower in fulfilling the intellectual capability of their brains. This also means moving a step slower into achieving mental maturity which poise great threats in the ability of judgement.

Without Perseverance, no one would ever discover the power of electricity and their importance in life. There will not be inventions like telephones, light bulbs, engines, and even paper which had proven its significance. Not even buildings can be completely built to shelter one from storms and chills. Worst still, imagine a world where patients chooses death over treatment. The world would simply be chaotic.

I believe if one strive to achieve the goal he set and stand up every time he falls, one is able to conquer the so seemed-to-be-impossible. Acquiring a high level of Perseverance can generates motivation for me to understand difficult topics and questions faced. No doubt with ample trying, I may even come out with a cure for terminal diseases like AIDS and cancers. Although I may not have the time to recognise the success, but I sure proved my value to the society by taking a huge step into inspiring others to make a rebound after failure.

To me, nothing is scarier than wasting precious time in your life and giving up on self progression. It makes no difference to death.
